Reimagine your Residential Retreat

Innosonix, known for its high-performance audio amplification and signal processing solutions, can greatly enhance residential audio-visual applications. With our advanced technology, Innosonix amplifiers ensure superior sound quality, delivering clear and powerful audio that transforms home entertainment experiences. Our systems are designed for efficiency and reliability, supporting seamless integration with various home audio-visual components. This results in an immersive, high-fidelity audio environment, perfect for home theatres, music listening, and multi-room audio setups, elevating the overall enjoyment of residential entertainment systems.

Performance and efficiency

Regardless of the installation you are working on, the efficiency of technology included in your designs becomes a crucial deciding factor for whether your specification is chosen over another. In the context of a residential installation, once installed, an amplifier will spend most of its working life turned on, so it’s ready to go whenever your customer chooses. Therefore, low energy consumption during idle periods is essential.

Older amplifier designs can consume up to 200 watts daily in idle mode. Based on EU average cost per kWh, this could cost customers €350 annually per device. Multiply this by multiple devices in various spaces, and your costs could rise significantly.

Innosonix prioritises efficiency in the design of the Maxx Series. All Maxx devices feature an Auto Standby mode, which, once enabled, reduces the device’s idle power consumption by 67%, from 96 watts to 32 watts. What does this mean for your running costs? Consider a device capable of providing you with up to 16, 24, or 32 channels of amplification, along with all the necessary processing power for your installation needs. You could save up to 84% on costs compared to outdated designs.

Digital inputs

Our devices natively support all standard protocols expected from a professional manufacturer, at no extra cost. MADI, AES3 are less common in the residential space, but we are seeing more and more manufactures adopt DANTE. There are several AV processors out in the market today with DANTE compatibility and thus would complement our devices well.

AES67 out of the four protocols our devices recognize occurs the most in the world of residential audio-visual installations due to its adoption by Crestron. As a result, our devices can be integrated into a Crestron system with relative ease for those with Crestron experience. However, with the upcoming Crestron Plug-In developed for Crestron Home integration of our devices will become second nature.

High channel count with flexible input and output processing

When dealing with a residential installation, rack space can be limited. Traditionally, audio system installations involve multiple amplifiers and external loudspeaker processors or controllers. This approach can quickly consume valuable space which leads to compromises in audio and system performance.

With our LP2 and D2 series, you can power multiple areas efficiently, with 16, 24, or up to 32 channels of amplification in compact 1U or 2U variants. Additionally, our Maxx Series devices feature industry-leading onboard DSP processing, eliminating the need for external loudspeaker processors.

DSP and Web GUI

Residential installations are often time-sensitive, as they typically occur within clients' living spaces. Consequently, resolving issues quickly and effectively is crucial. The Analyzer function is designed to assist in this regard. By connecting a speaker to the amplifier's output, the Analyzer provides a clear reading of its phase and impedance from 20Hz to 20kHz. Navigate to the ‘Detail’ tab to view the driver’s average Current RMS or Voltage RMS. Utilize the ‘Speaker Detect’ feature to verify if a speaker is connected to the output. Additionally, you can save, recall, and compare past and current measurements.

Ensuring rapid response times and restoring systems promptly is essential for customer support. Remote access is the most efficient way to deliver this level of service. Maxx Control, our WEB GUI hosted on each Innosonix device, allows for remote control of all device functionalities, enabling tasks to be performed remotely that would otherwise require on-site intervention.
